Executive summaries and comments
Add written context to a report and discuss findings with your team directly on the charts.
Editing the executive summary
The Executive Summary is a free-text section at the top of every report. Use it for key takeaways, observations, or notes for reviewers.
- Open the report you want to edit.
- Select the pencil (✎) icon next to the Executive Summary heading.
- Type your notes in the text area that appears.
- Select Save to keep your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
Commenting on charts
You can leave comments on the executive summary or on any individual chart.
- Select the comment icon on the executive summary or on a chart card.

- Type your comment in the text field.
- To mention a team member, type @ followed by their name. They will receive a notification.
- Select Send to post your comment.
To edit or delete one of your own comments, select the options icon next to the comment.

Unread comments are shown with a highlighted comment icon on the chart or summary section.
